The Coverage You Need Placed by the People Who Planned It
Most advisory firms tell you how much insurance to buy and then send you down the street to buy it. Now you are sitting across from a salesperson who has never seen your plan, does not know your family, your income, or what you are actually trying to protect, and is paid to close. The policy that gets sold is often bigger than you need, built around features you will never use, or simply the wrong kind. Sometimes it is worse than that: an unfamiliar agent, an unfamiliar company, and a signature on something you did not fully understand.
We keep it in one place. Coverage is placed through our own licensed professionals, so the person who sized your protection is the same one who knows your whole plan, puts the policy in force, and reviews it every year. When we implement a policy for you, the carrier pays us a commission, and we tell you what it is in writing before anything is placed. You are never obligated to buy through us, and the recommendation does not change if you do not.
Coverage We Place
- Term life: income replacement for the years your family depends on it
- Whole and permanent life: lifelong coverage, estate liquidity, and cash value where it fits
- Disability income: own-occupation protection for the paycheck everything else depends on
- Accident and sickness: supplemental coverage for the gaps a health plan leaves
- Long-term care: traditional and hybrid policies weighed against self-funding
- Umbrella liability: inexpensive protection for expensive accidents
Quotes are provided through licensed professionals and depend on underwriting. Product availability varies by carrier and state.

Common Questions About Insurance & Protection
How much life insurance do I need?
Enough to replace the income your family depends on, pay off debts that should not outlive you, and fund education, minus what you already have in coverage and assets. We size it with a needs-based calculation, not a multiple of income.
What is own-occupation disability insurance?
A policy that pays if you cannot do your specific job, even if you could work in another field. It matters most for physicians and other specialists whose income depends on a narrow skill set.
Does Attend sell insurance?
Attend can implement life and disability policies through its licensed professionals. When a policy is placed, the carrier pays Attend a commission, which is disclosed in writing before anything is placed. You are never required to buy through Attend, and the recommendation does not change if you do not.
Term or whole life?
Most households are best served by term coverage sized to a specific need and time period. Permanent policies have narrower uses, such as estate liquidity or certain business arrangements. We show the comparison in dollars before recommending either.
Is my group coverage through work enough?
Often not. Group disability typically replaces 60 percent of base salary, taxed, with a cap, and ends when you leave the job. We review the gap and price an individual policy to close it.
How often should insurance be reviewed?
Once a year, and after any major change: marriage, a child, a new job, a home purchase, or a business. Coverage that fit five years ago is rarely right today.
