Common Questions About Financial Planning
What does a financial plan from Attend include?
A written plan that covers six areas: cash flow, taxes, retirement, investments, insurance, and estate. Each area gets a current-state review, a recommendation, and a next step, and the plan is updated as your life changes rather than filed away.
How much does financial planning cost?
Standalone financial planning is a flat fee set before work begins. If you also have Attend manage investments, a tiered percentage of assets applies to those accounts. The full fee schedule is in our Form ADV.
Is Attend a fiduciary?
Attend is a fee-based registered investment adviser, and its advisory services are held to a fiduciary standard. If a client chooses to implement an insurance policy through Attend, the carrier pays a commission, which is disclosed in writing before anything is placed.
Do I need a minimum amount of assets to work with Attend?
No. Attend has no account minimum for financial planning or investment management. Most clients come to us when their finances get complicated, not at a particular asset number.
How long does it take to build a plan?
Most plans are delivered within four to six weeks of the first meeting, depending on how quickly documents come in. The first meeting is complimentary and takes about 30 minutes by video or phone.
Do you work with clients outside Atlanta?
Yes. Attend is based in Midtown Atlanta and meets by video as often as in person, working with clients across Georgia and in other states where the firm is registered.
