What exactly does a financial plan include?

Your plan covers cash flow and budgeting, student-loan strategy, investment allocation, insurance review, retirement projections, tax-planning recommendations, and estate-planning priorities. Everything is tailored to where you are in your career and written as clear, prioritized action steps — not a generic template. In short, it’s a complete roadmap for a physician’s financial life, and we keep it current as things change.

Can you help me with my student loans?

Yes — this is one of the most valuable things we do for physicians. We model every repayment option, including Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF), income-driven repayment plans, and private refinancing, and then give you one clear recommendation based on your employer type, income trajectory, and loan balance. We also help you stay on top of annual certification and deadlines so you don’t lose forgiveness you’ve earned.

Do you help with contract negotiation?

We work with a vetted network of healthcare contract attorneys we can refer you to, and we make sure you understand the full financial implications of any offer — compensation structure, benefits, disability and malpractice coverage, and tax impact — before you sign. You get the financial context; the attorney handles the legal review.

Do you handle my taxes?

We provide proactive tax planning — strategies, projections, withholding guidance, and Roth-conversion analysis — and we coordinate directly with your CPA so your investment and tax decisions work together. We don’t prepare and file returns, but we make sure your advisor and your CPA are on the same page all year, not just in April.

Can you help me set up my private practice finances?

Absolutely. We work with private-practice physicians on entity selection, retirement-plan design, and separating personal and business cash flow, so your practice becomes an efficient engine for building long-term wealth. We coordinate with your CPA and attorney so the structure is sound on every front.

Do you help with estate planning?

We provide estate-planning guidance and refer you to an estate attorney for document drafting, then make sure your financial plan and estate plan are fully aligned — beneficiaries, account titling, and protection for your family. You get coordinated advice rather than disconnected pieces.

See what a plan built around your life could look like.
